Day 1: Srinagar Arrival – Local Sight seen
On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative at the airport and proceed to Hotel. After Check inn, leave for local sightseeing (approx. 32 kms can be covered in 3 to 4 hours) including Shalimar, Nishat, CheshmaShahi and Botanical Garden, hence drive to Shankarayacharya Temple situated on Hill top overlooking the beautiful Srinagar City. Evening drive to Old City tour, Visit the Historical Jamia Masjid, Dargah Hazratbal Shrine, Badamwari (Garden of Almond Trees) and spend your time with shopping in local market areas in Srinagar city. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil
After breakfast checkout the Hotel at Srinagar and proceed to kargil (Kargil 204 Kms), by visiting Sonmarg (Known as Meadow of Gold), (approx. 82 kms 2 ½ hours’ drive one way). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. You can also visit Zero point via Zojila Pass, Drass Village (2nd Coldest In-habituated place in the World), Enroute have magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing Range, Mushkan Valley) reach Kargil by evening. Dinner &Overnight at Hotel in Kargil.
Day 3: Kargil – Leh
After Breakfast drive towards Leh enroute (Leh 180 Kms) visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Fotula Top, Lamayuru the oldest Monastery of Ladakh, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Sangam Point, Lakir, River Rafting, Hall of Fame and Moon Landscape. Arrive Leh by evening. Dinner &Overnight stay Hotel in Leh.
Day 4: Leh – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave for local Market and visit LachenPalkhar, Shanti stupa, Leh palace, Mall Road. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel in Ladakh.
Day 5: Leh – Nubra
After breakfast start your drive from Leh to Nubra Valley En-route stop at Khardung La Pass, the highest motor able road in the world at 18380 feet’s. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. After spending some time continue drive on to Nubra Valley. On the way enjoy the double humped camel safari at Sand Dunes “between” Deskit &Hundur Village. On arrival check-in at the Cottage. Dinner and Overnight at the Camping at Nubra Valley.
Day 6: Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra Valley
After breakfast you will drive from Nubra Valley to Turtuk Valley 92 kms. Turtuk is a village of in the Leh of Jammu and Kashmir It is located in the Nubra tehsil, 205 km from the Leh town, on the banks of the Shyok River. Turtuk was under Pakistan's control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic area. Geographically, Turtuk lies in the Baltistan Region and is one among four such villages in India, the other three being Tyakshi, Chanukah and Thang. It is predominantly a Muslim village, and residents speak languages including Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. Overnight at Nubra Valley.
Day 7: Nubra – Pangong
After Breakfast drive to Pangong by shook river Arrival at Camp, later free time at Leisure and enjoy the colour changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Dinner and Overnight at Pangong Lake.
Day 8: Pangong – Leh
After Breakfast proceed to Leh, through Changla Pass 17,350 Ft. 3rd Highest Motor able road in the world. On the way see beautiful mountains and enjoy the drive and also visit 3 Idiot School, Shey Palace, Himis&Thiksay. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Day 9: Leh – Airport Drop
After breakfast you will be transferred to Leh airport to board flight for your onward journey with the sweet memories of the tour with Danraa Holidays.
